The Camden Rescue Mission a 501c3 non profit organization has been around since 1924 and has been serving people and children in need since then. Located in the south side of Camden it has been run by Rev. Al & Mercedes Stewart and their children for the past 40 years.  As of 2018 Donald A. Stewart Jr. has taken over as the leader and operator of the mission his plight to continue charity work that his parents have started.  He is get the Mission to the next level and not leave anyone needing his help behind. You can help him make a difference in some else's life.

Evangelist Mary Davis founded MoSoDa in 1997, with just saving 25 cents from snacks she sold to neighborhood children by December 1997 she gave away her 1st 52 Fruit baskets and has been giving them since to a total of over 350 basket in December.  In 2017 the family got involved with MoSoDa and it was the greatest year of fruit basket giveaway. baskets were being requested. Since COVID she has increased her basket to children, seniors and bereave families and churches. She attributes her giving to her Mom the late Jimmie Lee  Davis and her brother Rev. Al Stewart founder of the Camden Rescue Mission.  Her famous saying is " I'm just Bubbly inside and smiles" .
